Solely to operate the service: to identify which conversation a text belongs to, rewrite it, deliver it to your co-parent, confirm delivery to you, honor opt-outs, prevent abuse, and provide support. We do not use your information for advertising and we do not send marketing messages.
The text you send is rewritten by software and the rewritten version is delivered to the other parent in your conversation — that is the purpose of the service. Your original wording is not shown to the other parent. Original message text is processed in memory, is not written to our logs, and is not retained by us after delivery. To operate the service, message text is transmitted to our language-model provider (Anthropic) solely to produce the rewrite, and to our messaging provider (Twilio) solely for delivery; both act as our service providers under their own security and confidentiality terms.
We do not sell or rent personal information. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, other than the service providers named above strictly as needed to deliver the service. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect the safety of any person.
We keep your mobile number and consent records while your conversation is active and for as long as needed to demonstrate compliance with messaging rules, then delete them. Data is encrypted in transit. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
Reply STOP to any message to opt out immediately. Reply HELP for help. Email support@coparenttranslator.com to request a copy or deletion of your number and consent records.
The service is for adults (18+). It is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Parents should avoid including more detail about a child than the logistics require.
We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date.
